Shipping Ginger Overseas
For exporting fresh raw ginger overseas, we use refrigerated (reefer) containers to ensure quality and freshness during transit. These containers maintain an optimal temperature of 10–12°C, controlled humidity, and proper ventilation to prevent mold and spoilage.
Packaging: Ginger is packed in mesh bags, cardboard boxes, or plastic crates (15–50 kg), with 30 kg mesh bags being ideal for export. All packaging ensures ventilation and moisture protection.
Container Options:
40-foot reefer containers (holds ~20–22 pallets) for larger shipments.
20-foot reefer containers (holds ~10–11 pallets) for smaller shipments.
Quality Control: Ginger is cleaned, sorted for uniformity, and packed with absorbent padding to manage condensation. Proper labeling ensures careful handling.
Moisture Protection: Containers are designed to prevent moisture buildup, with cargo stacked to allow air circulation and avoid condensation damage.
Documentation: We provide all necessary export documents, including Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and Phytosanitary Certificate.
